Noble County Veterans Service - Veterans Helping Veterans
The Noble County Veterans Service Commission is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - we will do everything we can to help our Veterans.
In May 1886, after the devastation of the Civil War, the Ohio Legislature created the Veterans Service Commission and authorized County Commissioners to raise the necessary levy within the ten mill limitations for funding the Veterans Service Office.
The Veterans Service Commission Function is to oversee the operation of the Veterans Service Office, to provide temporary financial assistance to Veterans, dependent children and surviving widows of Honorably discharged Veterans.
The Veterans Service Office will help Veterans and their Dependents obtain benefits from The Department of Veterans Affairs, obtain medical care from the VA Clinics & Hospitals and obtain benefits from State & local agencies.
